Amazing opportunity for a Junior Planning Solicitor at this Top25 international law firm.
This Tier 1 ranked planning team in Manchester is looking for a hardworking and driven junior Solicitor who is ready to assist and support on some of the largest and most significant Development and Infrastructure projects in the UK.
As mentioned above, you will be working on market leading planning and consenting matters whilst also working with some of the best partners and senior associates in the country. This will give you an amazing opportunity to train and learn under them.

What the role entails:

  • Supporting Senior Team Members: You’ll assist partners and senior associates, contributing to major planning projects, which involves a mix of strategic planning and practical application work
  • Diverse Projects: Projects span multiple sectors, including residential, commercial and infrastructure, with a strong focus on energy and infrastructure, aligning with broader environmental and regulatory goals in the UK – this means the opportunity to engage with various planning applications, statutory agreements, Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) implications and appeal processes
  • Collaborative Environment: There’s an emphasis on teamwork across departments, notably with Real Estate and Energy, pointing to a highly integrated approach in handling client and sector-specific requirements
  • High-Profile Clientele: The team’s clientele includes top investors, developers and landowners, suggesting that projects will involve high-stakes, strategic planning in major developments
  • UK-Wide Focus with Flexibility: While the role spans the UK, there’s flexibility to tailor the opportunity to your skills and interests
