YOUR JOB
Phillips-Medisize, a Molex company, is seeking a dynamic, proactive and experienced Business Controller to join our team in Poland. This role will support the Poland Plant Operations Leader by delivering actionable business insights through a combination of financial measures and business knowledge. As a trusted advisor, the Business Controller will play an integral part in shaping the strategy and direction of the business, providing real-time support and analysis to drive key decision-making processes.

What You Will Do
- Financial Management: Oversee financial management for the Poland manufacturing plant, ensuring accuracy and reliability of financial data.
- Performance Analysis: Deliver and explain key financial metrics to drive actionable and measurable results, ensuring predictability through effective planning and forecasting.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders from Operations and providing financial support in commercial decision-making processes.
- Efficiency Improvement: Challenge existing processes to drive efficiencies and cost savings, leading change initiatives and partnering in their implementation.
- Leadership: Play a key role in the leadership team, employing economic thinking to challenge and guide decision-making.
- Asset Evaluation: Lead the evaluation of major new assets within operations, leveraging both local and corporate resources.
- Financial Training: Communicate and train management teams on relevant financial metrics such as ROCC, NPV, IRR, and working capital.
- Compliance and Controls: Ensure robust financial controls and compliance with tax, legal, and audit requirements, working proactively with Finance SSC hubs.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work across functional areas to develop optimal business solutions and participate in global and European/Global projects as assigned.
- Principle-Based Management (PBM) Culture: Champion and promote the PBM culture within the plant.
WHO YOU ARE (BASIC QUALIFICATIONS)
- Minimum of 8 years in independent financial roles (e.g., Business Controller, Finance Manager) with a strong background in manufacturing, experience in greenfield projects is highly desirable.
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in financial systems (SAP or similar) and excellent MS Office skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, high learning agility, adaptability to change, and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a sense of urgency and ownership.
