To be Successful in this role:

  • BS degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Experience managing a Maintenance department in a large-scale manufacturing environment on multiple shifts and business units
  • Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance
  • Energy experience – water, gas, steam, and electricity
  • Facilities management experience – machinery and building
  • Experience with capital budgeting and projects
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

So, what will you be doing as a Plant Engineer?

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department and maintenance associates.
  • Ensure the proper upkeep of all production equipment and plant infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with Production Managers to drive exceptional performance in Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Efficiency.
  • Establish and execute a first-class Preventative Maintenance Program for all production equipment and infrastructure.
  • Develop, track, and improve KPIs related to machine downtime and reliability.
  • Initiate and participate in Continuous Improvement/Process Improvement projects to reduce costs, improve quality, and enhance efficiency.
  • Manage the execution of Capex and other maintenance projects.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting for Capex projects and department expenses.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
