Become part of the first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years! Join our Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick team as a Plant & Equipment Co-ordinator on the Hinkley Point Project and develop with this amazing project.

Responsibilities:

The Plant and Equipment Coordinator is responsible for the efficient management, allocation, and maintenance of plant and equipment within the organization. This role involves coordinating the availability and optimal use of machinery and equipment on various project sites, ensuring that all resources are in good working order and compliant with safety standards. The Plant and Equipment Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the operational needs of the organisation by minimising downtime and maximising the efficiency of plant and equipment usage.
What you’ll be doing

As a Plant and Equipment Coordinator, you will have the following responsibilities,

  • Coordinate the allocation and deployment of plant andequipment to various project sites based on operational
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, location, andcondition to ensure proper tracking and accountability.
  • Work closely with building managers and site supervisors toforecast equipment requirements and plan for their timelyprovision.
  • Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and inspectionsof all plant and equipment to ensure they meet operationaland safety standards & address any repairneeds promptly.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities,including repairs, inspections, and certifications.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments toidentify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement teamsto order necessary items in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate the transportation and logistics of plant andequipment between sites, ensuring timely and efficientdelivery.

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience working within a Construction role.
  • Ability to gain a security clearance.
