SUMMARY

The Plant Manager will manage site operations with a focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. The Plant Manager will be responsible for the oversight of the direction, coordination, and supervision of the day-to-day operations of production personnel, equipment, and material resources.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. Prior experience leading and developing teams is required. Candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in similar role.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents in English, and communicate those out effectively. Bilingual skills are preferred, but not required. Professional communication is required.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and use basic math skills.

COMPUTER SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to work in a computer system generating reports and metrics. Knowledge of basic Microsoft Suite required.

Responsibilities:

1. Drive production operations to meet or exceed corporate goals in terms of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
2. Identify and communicate any continuous improvement opportunities, and assist or lead continuous improvement actions.
3. Drive production of customer orders to meet or exceed customer expectations.
4. Identify and develop internal personnel to support continued growth.
5. Assist in scheduling resources, equipment, and workflow that drives the efficient use of shipping resources and achieves target on time delivery.
6. Source raw material resources and manage vendor relationships.
7. Assist in costing efforts by compiling production reports, completing time studies and provide recommendations as necessary.
8. Responsible for the compliant execution of all ISPM-15 processes.
9. Oversee prompt follow up on all customer quality concerns and ensure operational changes to prevent reoccurrence.
10. Ensure all safety incidences or concerns are promptly reported to the Corporate Safety Team.
11. Oversee maintenance resources, including parts and outside contractors, to ensure safe and reliable operation of equipment.
12. Operate with a sense of urgency and commitment to continuous improvement regarding all areas of responsibility: work force, training, housekeeping, etc.
