QUALIFICATIONS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • BS in STEM related discipline required, preferably Engineering, Supply Chain or Chemistry.
  • 5+ years of Plant Manager experience in a batch process facility.
  • Proven ability to manage change within a group and build strong interdependent teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to work independently.
  • Experience with applicable EPA and OSHA regulations.
  • Experience with ISO, TS, IATF and other industry standards.
  • Strong computer skills required. Experience with SAP strongly preferred.
  • Experience with visual factory environment, housekeeping standards and/or 5s/6s.

Responsibilities:

The Plant Manager, reporting to the Director of Operations, is a vital part of the senior leadership team and will direct and coordinate the schedule and activities concerned with production and quality control of company products manufactured in all plants at the Harvey site. Essential functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinates and supervises the daily, weekly, and monthly activities of operations personnel either directly or through subordinates. Implements a strong process and operational discipline that focuses on a robust house-keeping and safety culture.
  • Confers with management to establish safety, quality, and production standards, develop budget and cost con-trols, and to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
  • Develop, establish and measure KPIs to drive Operational Excellence.
  • Engage with employees to support a positive company culture that also endorses and supports the business strategy and core values.
  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods through process evaluation and statistical methods.
  • Influential capabilities to ensure the team is moving in the right direction and drive ownership.
  • Provide guidance and direction to supporting functional groups in an effective and collaborative way to ensure success for the area.
