Description:
Title: Plant Manager
Status: Full-time, permanent
Location: Bedford, Quebec
Graymont is seeking a Plant Manager to lead its Bedford, QC operations. Reporting to the Director of Operations Eastern, the Plant Manager will oversee the heart of our operations, ensuring a safe work environment, efficiency and quality in everything we do. The plant manager will foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices, driving innovation, and ensuring alignment with Graymont’s long-term strategic goals.

Responsibilities:
- Continue enhancing the existing safety culture and ensuring plant compliance with all internal and external HSE and regulatory requirements.
- Work with employees to continue developing initiatives to improve operational performance, ensuring the workforce is effectively developed, deployed and organized.
- Sustain IOP principles and evolve a Continuous Operations approach, while implementing Strategic Blueprint, Strategic Framework, and corporate initiatives, ensuring objectives are clearly communicated and integrated into plant strategies.
- Enhance the plant’s social license, maintaining effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, notably employees, local communities, and customers.
- Continue development of an effective team including self-directed work groups in both quarry and plant operations.
- Work with your team, the regional operations director, and the regional operations controller to develop and implement the operating cost and capital plan.

- Perform on-call duties as part of a rotational schedule with the supervision team.
