Description:
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide operational parameters and targets to achieve production budget.
- Provide operational assistants to ensure production targets are achieved.
- Provide detailed documentation on both the daily metallurgical performance and test work.
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly metal balance data, and to maintain the metallurgical accounting systems.
- Maintain key metallurgical tools, i.e. OSA PI system, Expert System
- Assist in the technical training of operators.
- Conduct test work and trials to improve metallurgical performance and operating costs.
Responsibilities:
Excellent opportunity for an energetic plant metallurgist to be involved in all aspects of operating a mineral processing plant. From planning production rates, setting operational parameters, solving technical related metallurgical problems, identifying cost saving initiatives to improving equipment reliability.
