Description:
Job Title: Plant Office Manager (HR & Accounting)
Location: Ice Industries Louisiana 21095 S Frontage Rd Lacassine, LA 70650
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION:
- Associate’s degree in business, accounting, human resources, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting and HR, preferably in a manufacturing environment or a similar role or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of month-end close processes, financial reporting, and inventory management.
- Experience with payroll processing and HR administration.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Must be computer literate and proficient with Windows, MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and ERP systems; experience with HRIS systems (Paycor) is a plus.
- Ability to work with and communicate (verbal and written) effectively within all levels of the organization and any external contacts.
- Ability to self-motivate, problem-solve, and work in a dynamic environment
- Extreme attention to detail and the ability to think strategically
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:
Plant Controller Duties:
- Oversee the plant’s month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Manage and monitor plant-level financial transactions, including balance sheet account reconciliation, and support Corporate A/P and A/R functions.
- Perform inventory control duties, including regular audits, inventory valuation, and reconciliation.
- Prepare and submit plant financial reports to corporate finance, ensuring company policy adherence and regulation compliance.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Analyze plant performance metrics and provide financial insights to support operational decision-making.
Human Resources Duties:
- Administer payroll processing for plant employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training activities for new hires, including maintaining accurate employee records.
- Provide HR support to employees and managers on employee relations, policy interpretation, and performance management.
- Assist with benefits administration, including employee enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain employee timekeeping and attendance records.
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned, including projects or assignments to support the organization.
