ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE

You will present with sound experience within the food manufacturing environment combined with a strong mechanical aptitude. A strong team player, with an eagerness to learn and develop your skills into leadership, you are not afraid to get your hands dirty. As a safety-focused individual, you will have experience working to high safety and hygiene standards within the workplace.

In addition to the above, the successful candidate will have:

  • The ability to maintain basic equipment
  • An understanding of mechanical equipment
  • The flexibility to work weekends.

In addition to providing proof of FULL working rights, progressed candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical. A drivers’ licence is also desirable

Responsibilities:

We currently have 2 vacancies for casual (with a view to going permanent) Plant Operators based at our world class manufacturing site in Numurkah. The primary objectives of the role will involve monitoring of the plant within the oilseeds crushing facility, fault finding and trouble-shooting, quality testing, administration and cleaning. The plant operates on a 24/7 basis including weekend and night shifts required on rotation.
