ABOUT THE JOB
Marid Industries Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Plasma Pipe cutter to join our team! This is an exciting full-time opportunity for an individual to join our growing team. As part of the Marid team you will work alongside our production, purchasing, and finance teams to ensure we meet project deadlines and deliver exceptional client service.
The Plasma Pipe cutter is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC plasma cutting machines to cut metal pipes and tubes according to precise specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC programming, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail to ensure high-quality cuts and adherence to safety standards.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPEREINCE
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in machine operation or a related field is preferred.
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in operating CNC plasma cutting machines and understanding of CNC programming.
o Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
o Knowledge of metalworking processes and materials.
Mechanical Aptitude:
o Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
o Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and repair.
Attention to Detail:
o High level of accuracy in measuring and cutting to ensure quality standards are met.
o Precision in following specifications and maintaining consistency.
Safety Awareness:
o Knowledge of safety practices related to plasma cutting and machinery operation.
o Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Communication:
o Effective verbal and written communication skills.
o Ability to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
