JOIN OUR TEAM AS A PLATFORM COST LEADER!
Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in our organization? We’re looking for a Platform Cost Leader who will be the go-to expert for documenting all cost items related to bids, ensuring Sales Managers can quote on time. You’ll monitor performance during launches and work closely with Sales Managers and Enterprise teams, becoming the focal point for all bid preparations and cost monitoring.
WHAT WE NEED:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical) or Economics.
- Experience: 2+ years managing complex projects with multiple goals of time, cost, and quality.
- Technical Skills: Experience with MS Project or SAP PS (Project System) preferred.
- Languages: Fluency in English
Responsibilities:
- Cost Analysis: Develop detailed costing analysis to support business win targets for Enterprises and Customer teams.
- Gap Documentation: Identify and escalate any gaps to ensure alignment with bid milestones.
- Cost Reduction: Drive cost-down roadmaps
- Proposal Development: Create comprehensive cost proposals for each bid, including New Product cost estimation and validation.
- Standardization: Ensure BOM creation aligns with standardization strategies and set cost targets with the supply base.
- Tooling & Budget: Provide tooling cost breakdowns and RDE budget estimations, and validate prototype and tooling costs.
- Compliance: Use appropriate templates to ensure smooth cross-functional communication.
- Team Training: Train the CM team on cost aspects to prepare for customer reviews.
- Project Handover: Ensure smooth handover of non-lead application projects to the Customer Program Manager and validate costs through launch completion.
- Post-Launch Monitoring: Track bid cost evolution post-launch to ensure compliance with standardization targets.
- Commercial Support: Assist Sales Managers with commercial offer wording and baseline management compliance.
- Trend Analysis: Analyze cost trends and statistics to anticipate future cost gaps.
- Change Management: Assess de-standardization impacts and ensure recovery during launch phases.
