Platform/DevOps Engineer, mid-level (Remote)

We are looking for a talented Platform/DevOps Engineer to join our team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Continuous experience in DevOps/IT system administration for at at least 2-3 years;
• Knowledge and practical experience with deployment and administration of Unix/Linux servers (Debian/Ubuntu, RHEL/Centos);
• Good understanding of common IT security practices;
• Experience in building and maintaining hybrid infrastructures;
• Experience implementing CI/CD;
• Experience with configuration management tools (ansible, saltstack, etc.);
• Experience with virtualisation and containerisation tools;
• Ability to perform root cause analysis for production errors;
• Working knowledge of databases and clustering (SQL, NoSQL);
• Proficiency in cloud-based DevOps practices, specifically in Terraform, k8s, IaC, PaC;
• Proficient understanding of Git;
• Experience with log management tools;
• Good skills in scripting languages (Bash, Python, golang, etc.);
• Experience with application & infrastructure monitoring in production environment;
• Good understanding of a software development process, everyday duties will include cooperation with both SW development and QA teams;
• Availability to be on call 24/7 (only in case of a disaster);
• Willingness to travel to London office 1 to 2 days per month.

• Configure and maintain internal services;
• Build and maintain monitoring systems;
• Build and deploy environments;
• Drive bare-metal deployment;
• Drive performance and integration testing.
