MINIMUM EXPERIENCE LEVEL

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS - NQF LEVEL
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 27001, ITIL) are a plus.
- Proven experience in platform management, governance, compliance, and control.
SKILLS
- Strong understanding of platform governance, compliance, and control frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and monitor KPIs.
- Experience with risk management and incident response.

Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE
To oversee the governance, compliance, and control of the Batch Automation and Command Centre platform, ensuring it aligns with organisational goals, complies with regulations, and continuously improves in performance and security. This role also involves managing the platform as an end-to-end service, covering all key stakeholder aspects such as financial management, customer experience, and supplier relations.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Platform Governance: Own the platform end-to-end, including governance, lifecycle, strategic direction, deployment of new services, and platform availability and stability.
- Design Approval: Work with infrastructure integrators to ensure designs and blueprints incorporate best practices and approve all designs specific to the platform domain.
- Service Definition: Responsible for the overall service definition and delivery.
- Vendor Relationships: Establish good vendor relationships regarding strategic direction and support of the platform.
- Business Strategy Support: Support the achievement of the business strategy, objectives, and values.
- Personal Growth: Ensure personal growth and enable effectiveness in performance of roles and responsibilities.
- Corporate Responsibility: Participate and support corporate responsibility initiatives for the achievement of business strategy.
