We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as an Plating Technical Manager within our Technical Engineering Team.

IN A NUTSHELL YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Providing technical leadership on plating for the manufacturing processes and commercial teams. You will need to be able to communicate technical aspects of the business with the senior management team, and convey technical information in a way that is easily understood.
As part of this role, you will develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and other interested parties to develop the business; you will also seek out and support opportunities for continuous improvement.

FOR THIS ROLE WE WOULD NEED YOU TO DEMONSTRATE:

• Degree in science-based subject or evidence-based relevant experience.
• The ability to lead, empower, motivate and engage team members.
• Previous laboratory experience.
• Conversant in the use of spreadsheet and other software (ERP experience beneficial)
• Good communication skills, and the ability to relay technical information to non-technical people.
• Excellent root cause analysis skills
• Proactive and inquisitive
• Six Sigma / Lean experience.
