To be successful in this role you will have to meet the essential requirements;

  • Experience and knowledge working in a registered early childhood education and care environment (0-5).
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with children and adults from diverse backgrounds
  • Current first aid certificate and working with children card.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking motivated Play Session Assistants with current industry experience and knowledge in Children’s Services who thrive on providing valued support to team members. Great opportunity to work within our Early Childhood Education & Care section, as part of our TAFE NSW Delivery, Implementation and Performance – Class Support team.
The Play Session Assistant provides assistance to educational staff within the Early Childhood Education and Care section through a range of duties including class preparation, cleaning, maintain and organising resources and storage areas, as well as communicating with students, families and other TAFE NSW staff.
We have the below vacancies available:
Orange Campus – Permanent Part Time Part Year Opportunity (8 hours per week – 41 weeks per year)
Armidale Campus - Temporary Part Time Part Year Opportunity (7 hours per week – 41 weeks per year, up until 14th December 2025)
