Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web-based applications.
- Integrate Playwright tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and product managers to define test automation strategies and best practices.
- Execute and analyze test results, identifying issues, reporting defects, and working with teams to resolve them.
- Maintain and update test frameworks, ensuring compatibility with new features, browser versions, and updates.
- Optimize test execution, improving speed, reliability, and coverage across multiple platforms (desktop, mobile, etc.).
- Ensure browser compatibility testing for Chromium, Firefox, WebKit, and others as needed.
- Contribute to documentation of test cases, automation processes, and troubleshooting guides.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Playwright or other modern browser automation frameworks like Selenium, Puppeteer, or Cypress.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript (or similar scripting languages like Python).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI) for automated test execution.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience in API testing and automation.
- Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs).
- Experience in cross-browser testing and debugging.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with BDD/TDD frameworks (Cucumber, Mocha, Jest, etc.).
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker for test environments.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for scalable test environments.
