Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Design and program functioning PLC and HMI for controlling assembly lines and stand-alone machinery (i.e., nutwelders) using RS Logix 5000/Studio 5000 and Factory Talk View Studio. Develop designs, documentation, and programs according to the scheduled timeline. Evaluate all processes to ensure they are working accordingly and perform I/O checks. Integrate and debug control systems and equipment.

HARD SKILLS

  • Experience with PLC and Robotic programming using RS Logix 5000/Studio 5000
  • Extensive knowledge in HMI programming – Factory Talk View Studio
  • Knowledge of Ethernet and I-O Link communication protocols
  • Knowledge of resistance welding
  • Understanding of electrical standards and latest safety standards
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Automation Manufacturing

SOFT SKILLS

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work within scheduled timelines
