JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are currently seeking a skilled Pleasure Boat Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing pleasure boats, particularly under the Yanmar and Volvo brand. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining pleasure boats to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a pleasure boat service technician.
- Proficiency in servicing boats under the Yanmar and Volvo brand preferred.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills.
- Familiarity with marine engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on pleasure boats.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
- Perform repairs and replacements of boat components as needed.
- Install and test new equipment and accessories.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates and recommendations.
- Document all service and repair activities accurately.
