JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking a skilled Pleasure Boat Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing pleasure boats, particularly under the Yanmar and Volvo brand. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining pleasure boats to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a pleasure boat service technician.
  • Proficiency in servicing boats under the Yanmar and Volvo brand preferred.
  • Strong mechanical and technical skills.
  • Familiarity with marine engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on pleasure boats.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of boat components as needed.
  • Install and test new equipment and accessories.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates and recommendations.
  • Document all service and repair activities accurately.
