Description:

Position: PMO Analyst
Location: Local offices, Birmingham, Manchester, North Hampton, and others.
Role: Hybrid working offered
Mitie are recruiting for an established and experienced PMO Analyst to join be responsible for championing AI and Copilot agents, driving the integration and adoption of these technologies to enhance project management processes and outcomes.
The role is expected to be based out of one of Mities delivery Centres (Shard, Northampton, Birmingham, Manchester although other locations will be considered).
The PMO Analyst will work proactively and collaboratively within the Programmes and Projects team.
In addition to the automation responsibilities they will also have expertise in the wider project management toolset including knowledge of Power BI reports.
Other responsibilities include occasional auditing of projects to ensure adherence to governance standards, including risk management, issue resolution, change control, and stage gate control.
The role also involves identifying process improvements and opportunities for automation. This includes creation and maintenance of power BI reports.

Responsibilities:

  • AI and Copilot Integration: Lead the implementation and integration of AI and Copilot agents within the IS Programmes and Projects team to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI and Copilot applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project goals.
  • Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs to educate team members on the use of AI and Copilot tools, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize AI-driven insights to analyze project data, generate reports, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance project performance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest AI and Copilot technologies and trends, continuously seeking ways to improve and innovate project management practices.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all AI and Copilot implementations comply with organisational policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining thorough documentation of processes and outcomes.
  • Auditing and Reporting: of Projects compliance to Governance frameworks, standards and processes.
  • Power BI: Report creation and maintenance.

What Were Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, with a focus on AI and Copilot technologies. Experience in an EPMO or similar environment is preferred.
  • Microsoft Co - Pilot and Studio knowledge
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in AI and Copilot tools.
  • Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and AI technologies are a plus.
  • Ability to think creatively and drive innovation within the team.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and driving change.
