The Leidos National Security Sector has a career opportunity for a Project Coordinator in Columbia, MD.

JOB SUMMARY

Assists in planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and evaluating the work of personnel in charge of task orders and/or integrated product teams; Assists in developing management plans and preparing management/cost performance reports; Coordinates travel, meetings, briefings and other activities necessary for the effective execution of program management tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a business discipline. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an additional four (4) years’ experience is required for a total of six (6) years’ experience.
  • Two (2) years’ experience on large scale programs of over $SM a year in coordinating program related activities including requirements, resources, personnel, funding, and scheduling activities
  • Experience supporting program activities using the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • One year of direct experience supporting the intelligence community or signals intelligence activity is desired.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day activities in the Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure the Program meets organization goals and requirements.
  • Work independently on a daily basis supporting and making decisions that impact the technical workforce.
  • Maintain the program portal for the source of documentation, guidance and metrics on the practice of project management and execution and support the successful delivery of the Program through effective facilitation, tracking and reporting.
  • Perform SharePoint portal development and maintenance including metrics - Assisting with the development and maintenance of the Program SharePoint site to include requirements gathering, workflow development and implementation of new SharePoint Tools.
  • Perform meeting facilitation to include customer program review meetings, independent program review, staffing, etc.
  • Perform staffing administration - Responsible for completing and assisting with all aspects of staffing activities, including the collection of suitable candidate resumes, scheduling of candidate interviews, management of interview feedback, new staff in-processing (badging, CPRL, charge number, orientation, etc.), staff out-processing, coordinating with team leads, Leidos Recruiters, HR and Security personnel to ensure all components of the staffing process come together effectively and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the PMO, mission customer and other organizational components to make recommendations to consolidate and streamline TTO-related processes. This includes continually assessing and refining processes to identify more efficient and effective ways to meet customer mission requirements.
  • Gain consensus across customer organizations to resolve technical issues. Communicate issues and solutions to the Government in a timely and transparent manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and administrative requirements including Leidos employee-based policies and annual training requirements.
