Serco have an exciting opportunity within our Maritime division for a PMO Project Support to join our team based at HMNB Portsmouth on a hybrid basis. This position plays a crucial role in providing governance, oversight, and support for the successful delivery of our Maritime DMS-NG programme. Our PMO Project Support will maintain structure and discipline within the programme, ensuring that project plans are cohesive, and that risk, issue, and dependency management processes are effectively implemented. It supports the programme’s success by driving consistent reporting, governance, and the delivery of key milestones. This position ensures that all programme activities adhere to established standards, processes, and best practices, facilitating the alignment of workstreams, tracking progress, and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Proven relevant Project PMO experience. Previous experience in a maritime environment would be an advantage.
A Strong understanding of project and programme management methodologies and frameworks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools including Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organisational and analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach.
Experience with tools like Power BI for data visualisation and reporting and knowledge of risk management techniques and process improvement methodologies is desirable.
