JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Product Manager, the Purchase Order Clerk will be responsible for supporting the Merchandising department Business Units by entering purchase orders and conducting follows-ups on purchase order status with internal clients. In addition, he/she may assist in special projects and perform other duties while showing interest in the product.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- DEC in Fashion Marketing, Business Administration, Finance or a related field;
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook & Excel;
- Ability to enter large volume of data with minimal errors;
- Demonstrates attention to detail;
- Ability to identify and resolve problems;
- Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills;
- Follow-through/follow-up skills;
- Initiative/self-motivation;
- Ability to complete multiple tasks within the required time frame in a highly interactive environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities;
- Willingness to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment;
- Able to work in a team-based participative environment;
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills;
- Bilingual;
- Clear communication skills, both written and spoken;
- Demonstrates a passion for fashion.

Responsibilities:
- Enter, manage and track purchase orders and follow up on product status with internal clients (e.g. Import, Quality Control etc.);
- Resolve purchase order exceptions, including pricing issues, lead time issues, missing information, etc.;
- Establish and maintain documents and records in appropriate files;
- Produce reports, forms and other materials as directed by Product Manager;
- Participate in daily stand up meetings;
- Demonstrate an understanding of the product cycle calendar to ensure deadlines are met;
- Elevate and effectively communicate business-related issues to the Product Managers in a timely manner;
- Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned;
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the brand.
