MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB

• Supporting Podiatry Service Manager and Professional Lead
• Work closely with the incumbent Podiatry Team Lead, coordinating duties as the need arises.
• Work closely with the Podiatry Team Business Support Supervisor to allocate resources based on identified need through reports generated.
• Interpret and manage team data recording eg RIO for team resource management.
• Deputise in Service Manager absence for the authorisation and monitoring of effective ordering of stores, eg Integra/ Onpos.
• Undertake supervisions and appraisals for clinical staff.
• Undertake facilitation of countywide staff training days.
• Undertake triage of new patient referrals.
• Manage day to day and long-term absences.
• Undertake return to work interviews following staff sickness absence
• Lead and participate in team meetings to discuss patient care developments and to disseminate information.
• Ensure clinical supervision, appraisal and mandatory training is an integral part of professional practice within the teams.
• Participate in recruitment and retention within the Team.
• Manage capacity and demand under the guidance of the Podiatry management Team
