PROGRAM SUMMARY
KBR proudly serves as the performance-based contractor for Base Operations Services at the Aegis Ashore Missile Defense System in Naval Support Facility (NSF) Redzikowo, Poland. This program focuses on the deployment and operational management of the sophisticated Aegis system, designed to intercept, and neutralize short- and medium-range ballistic missiles. Our primary mission is to ensure seamless base operations, directly enhancing strategic defense capabilities.
NSF Redzikowo, housing the second Aegis Ashore system, plays a crucial role in NATO’s defense against missile threats. Commissioned in September, the facility emphasizes our commitment to supporting key military infrastructures. Its strategic location northwest of Warsaw, near the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad, positions it strategically in European defense.
Our involvement in NSF Redzikowo includes comprehensive Base Operations Services, showcasing KBR’s expertise in managing complex military facilities. The base incorporates essential infrastructure, such as administrative offices, housing, dining facilities, security buildings, and athletic facilities—all maintained to the highest standards.
JOB SUMMARY
Assists the General Foreman or Superintendent in identifying key success factors for the Electrical crew, providing leadership to establish organizational structure and processes for construction and maintenance services. Responsible for executing electrical services, ensuring quality assurance, overseeing subcontractor performance, and managing construction costs. Evaluates electrical service execution for compliance with contracts, design data, schedule, cost budgets, and quality, communicating status, issues, and impacts to the project team. Maintains short-range plans, reviews deviations with the General Foreman or Superintendent, and monitors cost and man-hour budgets. Requires Certification as a Master Electrician or equivalent and 5+ years of experience.

- Must be fluent in English.
- Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 12 months of remaining validity AND with at least 4 blank visa/stamp pages remaining.
- Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
- Must possess security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain.
- The skills for this position are acquired through Certification as Electrician and 5-8 years of experience.

Despite initial operational delays, the project is nearing completion, achieving significant milestones under our stewardship. The base incorporates essential infrastructure, including administrative offices, housing, dining facilities, security buildings, and athletic facilities—all maintained and operated to the highest standards.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform/supervise LV/MV Switching Procedures 50/60Hz and LV/MV Isolations 50/60Hz.
- Operate, maintain, and repair permanent 50/60Hz electrical power transmission and distribution systems.
- Conduct the operation of Electrical Power Transmission and Distribution Systems, including switchgear, medium and low voltage distribution lines, with tasks such as monitoring and regulating equipment controls, maintaining operating records, logs, and reports, and examining and making minor adjustments to equipment and system components.
- Ensure efficient and safe operation of systems equipment and components per ANSI, ASME, NFPA, and OMSI standards, O&M manuals, and other specific operating manuals, procedures, and instructions.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical infrastructure, including UPS systems and emergency backup generators, ensuring maximum uptime per contract requirements.
- Determine customer requirements, plan, procure materials and services, assign and direct installation work, document changes, and maintain history files on infrastructure changes.
- Maintain and periodically test backup UPS and Emergency Power Generation systems, along with associated switchgear; monitor performance and interpret data to identify potential issues.
- Maintain short-range look-ahead plans, discussing costs and impacts with the team and customer.
- Supervise crew scheduling, ensuring personnel are qualified for tasks, directing assigned work, monitoring completed product quality, and providing training and experience for crew development.
- Provide recommendations and estimates to assist the customer with equipment upgrades and end-of-life replacements.
- Review resources and costs for each project with the customer, obtaining approval prior to execution.
- Submit results and lessons learned reports to the customer following project completion.
- Note: This position involves supervisory duties.
