JOB SUMMARY

The Cottage Grove Police Department is hiring 4 full-time Police Officers. Lateral law enforcement experience, military experience, and/or bilingual skills are preferred; however, we’re accepting applications from anyone who will be MN POST-eligible by July 15, 2025. Candidates will participate in a streamlined hiring process. Start dates, onboarding, and field training will be customized to suit each recruit. With contract negotiations in progress, we anticipate our salary and benefits package will attract and retain talent.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must be MN POST-eligible by July 15, 2025.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation, functional fitness assessment, and psychological exam.
