Join our team! The City of Kentwood is seeking applicants for a Police Officer in the Kentwood Police Department. We are also offering lateral transfers from other police departments. POSITION SUMMARY
Main responsibilities for this role include performing a variety of public safety and law enforcement services to protect the life and property of the City’s residents and visitors.
Our ideal candidate has a minimum of an associate degree upon completion of basic training academy and meets the following requirements:
- At least 18 years of age;
- A United States citizen at the time of testing for the position;
- No felony convictions;
- Valid Michigan driver’s license prior to hire date;
- Attended a police academy.
