The City of Sidney is now seeking applicants interested in the position of Police Officer with the Sidney Police Department. The Sidney Police Department consists of 37 sworn officers, 11 dispatchers and 5 support staff emploees. The vision of the Sidney Police Department is to exceed the expectations of their community, to adapt to the ever changing challenges and to provide the highest level of service and protection to their citizens. The department handles approximately 32,000 calls for service a year focusing on core values of professionalism, integrity, courage and compassion.
