KNOWLEDGE - NON UNION

Significant operational police experience in a leadership position and extensive knowledge of the RCMP organization, policies, procedures and databases. Experience in recruitment, onboarding and maintaining volunteer personnel files in compliance with RCMP policy.

SKILLS & ABILITIES - NON UNION

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; able to work independently; excellent communication skills (oral and written); excellent organizational skills; adaptability; technologically adept; ability to lead and people manage; politically astute; handle conflict resolution effectively and organizationally agile. Must be able to obtain and maintain RCMP security clearance.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF YOUR POSITION - NON UNION

This position supports Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Operations, is the liaison with E-Division RCMP Headquarters and is responsible for managing the RCMP Auxiliary Program in Kelowna Detachment which includes staffing, recruitment, onboarding, training coordination and scheduling.
