Description:
The Acorn Group are currently looking to recruit a highly skilled, experienced Lead Fraud Analyst to join our very driven Policy Fraud team. In this role you will be responsible for the extraction and analysis of fraud data, building and optimising counter fraud rule sets & working closely with our counter fraud, pricing, and underwriting departments.
The successful Lead Fraud Analyst will have experience working with insurers and have a strong background in application fraud detection, data analysis, and counter fraud systems.

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Drive counter fraud performance through detection and prevention at point-of-quote, point-of-sale, mid-term adjustments and renewal
- Ownership, maintenance, and development of counter fraud rules in SIRA, Iovation, and other counter fraud platforms
- In collaboration with IT and development teams, identify gaps and resolve errors within counter fraud platforms.
- With the use of SQL, Excel, and PBI, report on policy fraud strategic and operational performance
- Collaborate with pricing to understand and find solutions to fraud and its impact on loss ratios
- Collaboration with wider business areas to understand and report on fraud risk
- To assist in the promotion of data integrity across the business
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies regarding Financial Crime, TCF, GDPR and FCA regulations
- Maintain and extend professional relationships with intelligence suppliers, professional bodies, and law enforcement agencies
