JOB DESCRIPTION
The Ford Agency is actively working with a top DC law firm in their search for a Policy professional to join their busy team! This individual will work with a variety of clients on a number of policy areas (education, appropriations, transportation, and technology.). This is a great opportunity for a candidate with a diverse policy portfolio looking to contribute to a team in a fast-paced environment!
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with developing and implementing strategic advocacy plans on a wide range of policy issues
- Communicate with clients and internal teams
- Stay up to date with legislation and regulations
- Assist with special projects
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of policy experience
- Experience on the Hill, trade associations, or corporate government relations
- Experience with education, appropriations, transportation, and technology strongly preferred
- Professional communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
Responsibilities:
