JOB DESCRIPTION

The Ford Agency is actively working with a top DC law firm in their search for a Policy professional to join their busy team! This individual will work with a variety of clients on a number of policy areas (education, appropriations, transportation, and technology.). This is a great opportunity for a candidate with a diverse policy portfolio looking to contribute to a team in a fast-paced environment!

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist with developing and implementing strategic advocacy plans on a wide range of policy issues
  • Communicate with clients and internal teams
  • Stay up to date with legislation and regulations
  • Assist with special projects

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of policy experience
  • Experience on the Hill, trade associations, or corporate government relations
  • Experience with education, appropriations, transportation, and technology strongly preferred
  • Professional communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
