DETAILS
- Department: Sleep Diagnostic Lab
- Schedule: 40 Hrs/Wk | Monday - Friday | Days
- Hospital: St. Francis Hospital
- Location: Milwaukee, WI

REQUIREMENTS
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Certified Cert Polysomnographic Tech credentialed from the Board of Registered Polysomnograhic Technologists (BRPT) preferred.
- Registry eligible by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists preferred.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required plus specialized training in Polysomnography required.
Work Experience:
- Minimum one (1) year experience working in a Sleep Center required.
Responsibilities:
Perform basic and advanced diagnostic sleep studies.
- Prepare patient and equipment for ordered testing. Interview patient to determine sleep disorder issues and to explain testing procedure.
- Perform and document testing.
- Monitor patient throughout testing and intervene as necessary toresolve patient needs or equipment issues.
- Score, interpret and reports results of sleep studies.
- Prepare, calibrate, repair and maintain equipment required for testing.
- Determine and report needed repairs/replacements.
