WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

When a patient comes in for any sort of test, they are often nervous and unsure of what is going to happen. They are looking to be reassured and handled with care and respect. They are also trusting that the person running the test is highly competent and accurate. Clearly this is the sort of position that requires someone who is equally good with people and machines.

• Select, assemble, and check all associated sleep lab equipment for proper function, operation, cleanliness and troubleshooting in accordance with OSHA guidelines/infection control in order to provide a safe customer environment.
• Perform maintenance/troubleshooting of sleep lab equipment.
• Score sleep studies according to AASM Sleep Scoring Manual.
• Set up and monitor day-time sleep study and document observations, collect data from various monitors and report information to the Physician.
• Set up HST and educate patients on proper use as well as download and score HST devices
• Schedule sleep studies and review charts for appropriate order and history
