Role Description
We are seeking a PON Test Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the interoperability of ONUs (Optical Network Units) with our OLT solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with our development and quality assurance teams to conduct extensive testing of PON systems and contribute to the continuous improvement of our products.

• Perform thorough testing of ONU interoperability with our OLT, ensuring smooth operation across various vendors and network environments.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts for PON systems, focusing on functional, performance, and stress testing.
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot issues related to ONU-OLT compatibility.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to analyze test results and provide feedback for product improvements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PON technologies, including GPON, XGS-PON, and future evolutions.
• Coordinate with external vendors to validate interoperability with third-party ONU devices.
• Contribute to the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline by automating tests and reporting tools.
• Support field teams with any ONU or OLT-related issues that arise during customer deployments.
