QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics or other related domain ongoing (2nd year Bachelor’s student or 1st year Master’s student)
Proficiency in Excel (VBA) and Powerpoint
Programming skills in SQL
Modelling capabilities, programming skills (Python) or experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau or PowerBi are a plus
Given the vast majority of our clients, both internal and external, are based outside of Quebec and Canada, specific language requirements may apply. Knowledge of French and English is required

Responsibilities:

PORTFOLIO ANALYTICS & MODELLING RESPONSIBILITIES

The Portfolio Analytics & Modelling team is responsible for monitoring and forecasting the key resources (balance sheet and capital) consumption of Global Banking Americas in close coordination with Business Lines and Coverage units. Additionally, the team is responsible for the regional Strategic Resources Committees to review key resources consumption and value creation metrics with Regional Senior Management and if needed provide feedback on behalf of GBA to the CIB Leadership forum.
The position reports to the Head the Portfolio Analytics and Modelling team.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

In coordination with main stakeholders in GBA and across the platform:
Monitoring, Budgeting and Forecasting GBA Resources (RWA, balance-sheet and provisions) consumption by managing the database of the bank
Tracking the Resource Allocation Committee (RAC) approved deal pipeline
Reporting of Leveraged Lending portfolio and underwriting portfolio evolution
Liasing with risk, finance, and credit teams
Data validation and quality control of data
Powerpoint presentations creation and preparation
