Description:

LET US TELL YOU A BIT ABOUT US

We’re Aldermore Group – the award-winning bank, trusted and highly rated by over a quarter of a million customers for more than a decade. With our range of specialist mortgages, savings accounts and business finance solutions, we’re backing more people to go for it.
We thrive by saying “yes” to our customers. We respect the ingenuity of entrepreneurs and their startups; we give first-timers a leg-up onto the property ladder; we open up the lending market to many; and thousands of customers chose MotoNovo Finance every week to buy their next car, van or motorbike.
This is where you come in. We are on a journey. A journey defined by a destination; to deliver on our purpose.

Responsibilities:

  • Using portfolio metrics, financial data, KPIs and trends in these numbers to measure credit and wider business performance in a way that informs a customer-centric approach to making credit decisions
  • Review and refine credit lending criteria to enhance risk management practices
  • Working closely with the second line to identify emerging credit and macroeconomic risks
  • Understanding of the market dynamics which are driving changes in the value of new and used vehicles, making suitable and proactive adjustments in response to any perceived changes to the long-term underlying outlook for vehicle valuations
  • Monitoring the performance of the Motor portfolio at an aggregated and intermediary level, identifying and acting upon any changes to key underlying assumptions including margin, expected and actual credit loss, default rates, run rates and settlement experience;
  • Extracting, manipulating, and analysing complex data sets using reporting tools in order to identify patterns and anomalies, uncover correlations, derive meaningful and actionable insights, and generate reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making that will add value across multiple business areas
