Description:

The Wholesale Banking growth strategy is to provide a distinctive banking experience and foster long-term partnerships with corporate clients and financial institutions. Our ‘ING differences’ offer unique value to clients in three key areas:
1. Global reach with local experts
2. Sector expertise
3. Sustainability focus
To achieve this, a transparent and consistent WB Global roadmap needs to be designed and delivered, making the Transformation Management function a critical enabler for our Wholesale Banking Growth Strategy and (digital) transformation.

ABOUT US

With 60,000 employees and operations in approximately 40 countries, there is no shortage of opportunities for people with initiative who want to help people take a step ahead in life and in business. Do you want to work at the cutting edge of what’s possible and at the same time ensure you work with integrity and hold the customer’s interests at heart? Do you want to be surrounded by progressive, inspiring, diverse and supportive colleagues? Then there is no better place to invest your talents than at ING. Join us and apply today!

Responsibilities:

  • You are expected to bring the (Run & Change) portfolio management of WB to the next maturity level: more automation of reporting, streamline governance and communication, further professionalize decision-making and priority setting.
  • To this end, you will drive in a joint effort with Tribe, Tech and Area Leads, the definition and implementation of a consistent approach in translating MBB and WBMT KPI’s in to OKR’s with lineage back and forth to feature-level. Maintain consistent leading and lagging indicators for tracking of value creation and prioritization purposes. Drive the creation of a business outcome mindset and culture.
  • You will be a driving force in adding flavors to WB Governance meetings and introducing and maintaining elements of the Obeya-room concept, e.g. a Performance Wall.
  • Contribute to cocreating the transformation vision, strategy and roadmap for WB and drive the translation to the administration hereof in SNOW and other appropriate tooling. You will be responsible for proper financial and risk management of the transformation.
  • You will drive experimentation of improvements and when successful implementation thereof in the QBR-process, rolling forecasting and in future strategic workforce management.
  • You will drive the governance of investment proposals in WB.
  • You will have an active role in the execution of the WB dynamic plan (DP)-process and initiate improvements of that process at WB. In the DP-process you will be the linking pin between Head Office and the countries to ensure all change targets, scope and conditions are translated to the countries roadmaps, reported out to all stakeholders and pro-actively resolve bottlenecks.
  • You will be responsible for continuously identifying and reducing inefficiencies in WB’s run and change portfolio, in order to optimize the delivery of value and help fund the Grow the Difference strategy.
  • You are a linking pin towards other ING departments, countries, global standards and you actively share best practices across the organization.
  • Assure progress by tracking dependencies, milestones and critical path to ensure successful delivery of the transformational objectives; actively help managing issues and impediments.
  • Supporting the Head of Transformation Management in drafting clear presentations on various topics for senior management up and until MBB-level. In addition, coordinate ad hoc/high priority requests from Senior management and improvement initiatives.
  • Proactively manage projects reconciling various stakeholders’ agendas, anticipating issues and providing quantitatively backed up solutions. You provide high quality information to drive informed decision making as a trusted advisor.
