Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

As Portfolio Manager - Manufacturing you provide leadership in establishing the planning, implementation, communication and execution of projects in the organisation’s Manufacturing Product Portfolio. Within this role you will be highly visible and impactful. You will closely interact with other departments like R&D, Manufacturing, Sales, Application Development and Product Management and create value by bringing Project and Portfolio management to the next level in order to secure continued business growth. You will work in a fast moving and growing environment with a high level of autonomy.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Lead, develop and also drive the organisation’s portfolio management efforts
  • Act as the primary in the design/transfer of new product technologies to Manufacturing
  • Lead in the definition of project scope and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders
  • You will play a key role in driving clarity, potential solutions, and implementation on broad Manufacturing centric projects, including new products, technologies, and improvements (Regulatory requirements, cost savings, yield improvements etc.)
  • Assembling the right team and guiding cross-functional project members towards effective and efficient use of resources including proper planning and follow-up
  • Lead and motivate stakeholders at multiple organizational levels during project execution
  • Drive continuous improvement in project work, in close collaboration with project teams
  • Develop best practice tools and techniques and show ownership of the end-to-end delivery process
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques and ensure correct and up-to-date visibility of the complete project portfolio
