Reporting to the Senior Manager, Portfolio Management, Systematic and Indexing you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the daily portfolio management processes as well as making significant contributions to the research and development of quantitative/systematic investment strategies.

Your role:

  • Significant contribution to the daily portfolio management routine/activities
  • Act as a catalyst for the research and development of quantitative/systematic investment strategies
  • Participate in the technological evolution of the team’s trading tools
  • Bring new proposals on various projects

Prerequisites:

  • You have experience in quantitative portfolio management.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation completed
  • At least 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in portfolio management.
  • Meaningful experience with derivative products.
  • Quantitative experience
  • Completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in financial engineering, actuarial science or any other related field
  • Practical experience in finance/trading-oriented programming
  • Java, Python or VBA programming skills
  • Knowledge of programming support tools: Atlassian Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket, an asset
  • You have an interest in systematic portfolio management applied to different asset classes
  • Stocks, bonds, futures, options and currencies
  • Work well under pressure
  • Agility/strong ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively and present information in layman’s terms
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Sense of initiative and team spirit
