Description:

DNA’s success as a telecommunications company is based on two sets of assets. The first one is our network assets of unrivalled quality. The second treasure is our culture, which is founded on the pillars of trust and freedom, so that everyone can be themselves at work. Our humane leadership and management philosophy supports our culture — every leader is expected to build greatness in our people.
We are now seeking a Portfolio Manager to join our work community. The Portfolio Manager makes sure that our activities are aligned with the company strategy, so that our investments best serve the interests of the company.
Being an innovative teleoperator, DNA produces a bewildering array of new ideas and opportunities every day. As the Portfolio Manager, you facilitate the discussion between the many stakeholders and beneficiaries of our portfolio, including both technical and business-oriented people.
You will build discipline and institute order so that our stakeholders will have easier time to make the right decisions. You will be the guardian of our investment portfolio and make sure it gets all the attention it requires.

To be successful, you will need the following:

  • Be knowledgeable about various methods and approaches to portfolio management as well as how they are applied in the real world. For example, SAFe’s lean portfolio management and PMI’s portfolio management standard.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills, especially in the context of conflicting interests.
  • Extensive experience in agile systems development
  • A good understanding of strategic management.
  • Understanding of the economics of development and investment portfolios.
  • Capability and integrity to say “no” when necessary.

You will also benefit from the following:

  • Having experience from both business-to-business and business-to-consumer context.
  • Understanding of the realities of large-scale software development.
  • Understanding of telecommunications business and technology.
  • Familiarity with systems thinking theory and practice.
  • Strong social skills, including active listening, emotional sensitivity and general knowledgeability about human centric management and coaching.
