Who we are looking for
SSGA Portfolio Oversight and Control are a team of operations professionals with broad experience who provide integration support and daily oversight for the SSGA core outsourced middle and back office functions, this role will focus on the trade administration aspects of the service delivery by our outsourced providers, working to ensure all aspects of trade capture, settlement and issue resolution are documented, understood and executed by both parties seamlessly for all asset classes.

What you will be responsible for
As a Portfolio Oversight and Control - Trade Administration VP1 you will be:
- Monitoring and reviewing critical metrics to ensure deliverables and service standards are met, building and maintaining Service Level Agreements with outsourced providers in regard to TA functions
- Contribute to the SSGA change agenda through partnering with other teams on projects (locally and globally) and on new business analysis so as clear direction can be provided on the scope and operational post trade execution requirements related to any new or existing SSGA business initiative
- Act as a point of escalation for the Traders and Portfolio Managers– address issues accordingly and suggest controls to enhance existing processes
- Develop and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders including other business lines, corporate functions, brokers and custodians.
- Keep abreast of market / index events and participate in industry forums
- Monitoring and reviewing critical metrics to ensure deliverables and service standards are met in regard to outsourced Regulatory Trade and Transaction reporting
- Manage the SSGA delegation framework requirements for outsourced Regulatory Trade and Transaction reporting
- Provide support for client requests as and when required

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Degree qualified with a financial or analytical discipline preferred.
- Professional industry qualifications an advantage.
Additional requirements
- Experience in overseeing outsourced operations functions and or understanding of regulatory requirements on outsourced service recipients an advantage
- Experience using Bloomberg, DTCC’s ALERT & CTM, Global Link’s GTSS and be capable using the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- At least 6+ years’ experience from a Trade Support or Trade Administration background demonstrating comparable skill sets required
- Exposure to both exchange traded and OTC products beneficial
- Appreciation of stamp duty markets, financial transaction taxes and collection of them in relation to in specie activities.
- Project management experience an advantage.
