Description:

Location: Newbury or London + *Hybrid
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri

WHO YOU ARE

  • You will have extensive experience in liaising with stakeholders and delivering successful change initiatives.
  • You will demonstrate enthusiastic interest in modern development practice, tooling, technology and techniques.
  • You will have a solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle including multiple delivery methodologies (agile and waterfall) with the ability to mentor, motivate and shape high performing teams.
  • You will demonstrate extensive experience of budgeting, financial management and governance.
  • You will have extensive experience of Capacity management practices.
  • You will have demonstrable experience in introduction and management of SAFe Lean portfolio management practices.

We’re looking for a Portfolio Planning Delivery Manager, to join our Technology Hub in London or Newbury HQ, bringing with you a broad range of experiences and a passion for lean programme governance and modern engineering technologies & practices. The Digital & IT planning and enablers function is a pivotal team within the D&IT Consumer portfolio, connecting business vision with a comprehensive technology change roadmap with sustainable speed at the core

  • You will manage overall, holistic Digital & IT CAPEX view of risks and opportunities across this portfolio, include process and integration with Consumer, SET and PMO
  • You will provide value and insight led D&IT short to midterm roadmaps, supporting optimal decision via decision point and change request framework, where CAPEX and resource contention exists.
  • You will lead on Continuous Improvement initiatives for Consumer Technology, to implement clear structure, stability and OKRs for the team
  • You will look for optimal and early risk / decision management of a) capex b) plans c) capacity interlock for the year to allow for mitigation or remediation.
  • You will introduce commitment and compliance to all key processes a) Change Requests b) Capacity planning c) Roadmap planning d) Hardlock and key checkpoint achievements
