Description:
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years’ experience of working at Programme/ Portfolio Level as a PMO
- Experience leading a team of PMO’s
- Experience of working in Financial Services ideally Investment Banking
- Set up or supported the creation of a CPMO
- A mix of Front Office Project experience across Finance, Regulatory, Risk and Technology change would be ideal
- Experience in annual planning/ large scale budget management
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to align project and portfolio management with the overall business objectives of the investment banking division.
- Oversee the governance of project portfolios, including prioritization, resource allocation, and risk management. Implement and maintain rigorous processes to track and report on project progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Manage and optimize the allocation of resources, both human and financial, across multiple projects and programs. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure resource utilization is efficient and aligned with business priorities.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the success of projects and portfolios. Monitor and report on the performance of initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions when necessary
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with projects and portfolios, considering market dynamics, regulatory changes, and internal factors. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the bank’s investments and reputation.
