Reporting to and working closely with the Controller, the Portfolio Servicing Specialist is a key member of the Accounting & Finance team. Once deals have been funded and booked, the Accounting & Finance team is responsible for preparing the packages of deals to be sold to our securitization and syndication partners in to one of our seven portfolios, and then “servicing” those portfolios by collecting and reporting the regular collections of the lease and loan contracts, prepayments, and contract amendments to our funding partners in the form of monthly or semi-monthly reports and the company financial statements. The Portfolio Servicing Specialist is the primary contact for our funding partners, preparing the monthly or semi-monthly reports, back-up files, and reconciliations, ensuring all collections are reported accurately while adhering to strict reporting deadlines. During this 18-month maternity leave coverage period Dynamic will pass two fiscal year-ends and you will assist with preparation of the working papers for the year-end audits, and will engage in additional ad hoc and special projects as required throughout the contract. This dynamic position requires an Accounting or Finance background, a keen eye for detail, exceptional communication skills, advanced Excel skills, and a passion for that perfectly reconciled feeling. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Completed Bachelor of Business/Commerce with Accounting or Finance major, or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an Accounting or Finance position.
  • Understanding of securitized lending is considered an asset.
  • Experience in the equipment finance industry is considered an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaison for syndication and securitization partners for reporting and reconciliation related matters.
  • Prepare monthly settlement reports with all back up files for (7) syndication and securitization partners.
  • Prepare semi-monthly reconciliation reports for syndication partners; investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Support for additional monthly, quarterly, and annual portfolio reporting requirements.
  • Back-up support for regular payouts and contract amendment requests.
  • Assist with year-end audit and preparation of working papers for auditors.
  • Ad hoc and special projects, as required.
