Then the Marine Bioacoustics lab at the Department of Biology invites you to apply for a 1.5 year post doc position to work within these research areas.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- You will be working primarily with design, calibration and use of a large aperture hydrophone array for quantification of toothed whale echolocation clicks.
- You will also perform quantitative analysis of ambient noise.
- You will also first author and hence draft peer-reviewed manuscripts based on the results.
WHO WE ARE
The Marine Bioacoustics lab is a world leading research group that works with how marine mammals use sound for communication, foraging and navigation and how these processes are affected by anthropogenic noise.
