POST DOCTORAL FELLOW- Civil

The Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering (CArEE) at Missouri University of Science and Technology (S&T) in Rolla, Missouri, USA, is seeking applicants for a postdoctoral position in the field of Pavement Engineering. The expected starting date for the appointment is January 16, 2025. The position is for nine months, with the possibility of an extension based on the candidate’s satisfactory performance and funding availability.

We invite applicants with research interests and experience that complement or extend the department’s research capabilities. These areas of Pavement Engineering include, but are not limited to:

• Asphalt binder and mix testing and analysis
• Recycled components in asphalt applications
• Advanced characterization of asphalt binders

The successful candidate will be able to conduct their research in the field of recycled components in asphalt and will assist the CArEE researchers in collecting data and preparing proposals. The successful applicant is also expected to teach one basic civil engineering course per semester.

QUALIFICATIONS

PhD in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
