Description:
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.
Applications are invited for a post-doctoral researcher to work with Prof. Michele Vendruscolo at the Centre for Misfolding Diseases, Department of Chemistry, University of Cambridge (http://www-vendruscolo.ch.cam.ac.uk/). The post is to work on a research programme on the development of induced pluripotent stem cell models of Alzheimer’s disease.
The position will involve the use of a variety of methods in cell biology and chemical biology. The applicant should have a background in cell biology, biochemistry, neuroscience, or related disciplines.
All candidates should have (or be about to obtain) a PhD in a relevent subject. They should have a keen interest in applying biophysical methods to complex systems and enjoy working in a highly multidisciplinary, dynamic and collaborative environment.
