POSITION SUMMARY
Applications are invited for the role of Post-Doctoral Researcher X 2 in Sean- agus Meán-Ghaeilge (Early and Medieval Irish) within Scoil Léann Na Gaeilge (School of Irish Learning).
(There are two posts available within this project.)
The aim of the Disappearing Text Project, based in the Department of Early and Medieval Irish at University College Cork, is to produce semi-diplomatic editions of the manuscript witnesses to Acallam na Senórach ‘The Dialogue of the Ancients’, the premier text of the Finn Cycle, alongside ‘minimal’ and ‘maximal’ critical editions. The successful candidate will become an active member of the Disappearing Text Project and will take responsibility for preparing one semi-diplomatic edition of a vellum manuscript witness to Acallam na Senórach, under the direction of a Principal Investigator / Research Fellow.

Salary: €44,847 - €51,313 per annum, IUA PD1
