Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking an experienced Post Graduate Fellow to join our team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
We are looking for a Post Graduate Fellow in BreastScreen! The primary purpose of the role of Post Graduate Fellow in Breast Imaging is to provide a program of additional training to develop subspecialty interests in breast imaging, and to further develop core clinical skills required in this area. The Post Graduate Fellow will have completed advanced training to become a specialist medical practitioner in Radiology or have completed specialist training in another discipline relevant to the Fellowship training program.
The Post Graduate Fellow will provide high quality clinical care, diagnostic and consultative specialty services in breast imaging at the level of a Post Graduate Fellow, and participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the BreastScreen Department and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital as required. They will ensure high standards of professional performance and contribute to an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.
The successful applicant will be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) with recognised qualifications in Radiology and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award. (Note: Applicants who have successfully completed part one and two examinations and expecting to be awarded their Fellowship prior to, or within six months of the expected commencement date, may be considered.)
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Staff Specialist (State) Award.
