ABOUT THE RESEARCH PROJECT

The Angiogenesis and Inflammation group is led by Associate Professor Joanna Kalucka. Our team is dynamic, diverse and international. Our research aims to uncover the fundamental mechanisms by which blood vessels interact with their tissue microenvironment and adapt their properties in response to inflammation, including in obesity and cancer.
You will join a multidisciplinary environment at the intersection of academia and clinical research, with access to state-of-the-art technologies such as light-sheet microscopy, advanced flow cytometry, and other advanced OMICs approaches (Chromium, Visium, CyTOF, etc.). Additionally, you will benefit from our team’s expertise in animal surgery and clinical sample processing. We are looking for candidates with exceptional experimental skills, a passion for discovery, and the ambition to push the frontiers of scientific research.
